In the Ormiston league this season we finally came second behind DSPC with an excellent result of 64 points. We were 10 points behind DSPC and 42 in front of the next club.

Following on from the blade rapair activities we still need to finish of some varnishing and leathering, if you have soem spare time to help please let one of the captains know. we will be scheduling a new work party date soon.

THe environmental agency are planning to rebuild our landing stage starting the 22nd of Feb, the estimated time to complete this work is 5 to 6 weeks, during this time we will not be able to boat from our own boat house. Alternative boating facilities are currently being explored, any suggestions please let the captain or club secretary know.

The first social event of the year, the burns supper was an excellent success - we managed to feed over 50 people! A big thankyou to all the club members that helped to put this event on and to everyone who attended for making it yet another Valley social event to remember!
